Bangalore:  2012 is a promising year for smartphone maker. This year we have seen lots of flagship smartphone announcement such as Samsung Galaxy S III, HTC One Series, Nokia Lumia Series, Sony Xperia S and many more. The third quarter of 2012 will witness many more smartphones especially from Sony which has around five to six Android running smartphones under Xperia lineup listed to hit Indian market. Along with Sony, some other key players have also announced their latest phone for Indian market which will soon be in stores. Have a look at them.

Sony Xperia Range

All Sony Xperia range smartphone runs on the latest Android 4.0 ICS operating system and will hit the market most probably in the third quarter of this year. The company has not disclosed Indian price for any of its upcoming smartphones.

1. Sony Xperia Acro S

Sony Xperia Acro S will be the first smartphone by the company to run on Google’s latest Android operating system i.e., Ice Cream Sandwich. It is powered with 1.5 GHz dual core processor and comes with 4.3 inch display with Razor sharp clarity, 12 MP camara with BRAVIA Engine for faster image capture and also includes front facing camera for video calls and chats. The smartphone is also certified with PlayStation games and is available in white, black and pink color variants.
