The Most Awaited Google Nexus 4 Hits India

Bangalore: Google Nexus 4, one of the most awaited Smartphone in India, has finally made it to the preorder charts of online retailer Flipkart. Even though this coveted Android from Google was released half a year ago, the country was not able to pocket it till now, blame it on the high demand for the device or an unknown marketing strategy of Google!

However, the Smartphone which is on preorder for 25,990 carries LG India’s warranty, which indicates it’s the manufacturer and not Google, who is debuting the device here. But according to the reports Google will also sell the device through Google Play, which currently trades the Asus made tablet, Google Nexus 7.

Being the first true Smartphone from Google, the comparatively low cost Nexus 4 had invited positive reviews, earning a name as the epitome of performance and usability. The highly specked device sports a 4.7-inch WXGA HD display having 1280×768 pixels and is powered by a 1.5GHz quad-core Snapdragon S4 pro processor, Adreno 320 GPU and 2GB of RAM, which is more than enough to set some benchmarks in the Smartphone world.

The 8-megapixel rear camera in the device is accompanied with a LED flash and a 1.3-megapixel camera at the front. It also supports wireless charging and has a 2,100mAH battery.  The best thing above all is the device will run on latest Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.

Currently, the 16 GB version of Nexus 4 is available for preorders and the estimated release date is put as 4th week of May.
