It is expected that the megapixel of Smartphone cameras is a passé and the focus is shifting to image quality. In tune with this trend, Samsung announced advanced pixel technology for CMOS image sensors, and named it ISOCELL. This technology increases light sensitivity and effectively controls the absorption of electrons by 30 percent, resulting in higher colour fidelity even in poor lighting conditions. It is slated to be a feature in Galaxy S5 and the successor to the Galaxy Note.
