TCL 560 Phones Enabled with Biometrics Now Available in India


BENGALURU: TCL Corporation—one of China's biggest electronics manufacturers has launched a new and advanced TCL 560 smartphone in India equipped with a distinctive eye-biometric verification feature. Partnering with Alcatel, TCL sells smartphones in over 170 countries including India.  

TCL 560 comes with a 5.5-inch HD IPS display, quad-core processor, 8MP rear camera with LED flash and a 5MP front camera. It is a 4G LTE enabled device that runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. To lock the screen tab with an Eyeprint, users can go to the mobile settings and under the EyeVerify feature they can easily tap on the Screen Lock to create an Eyeprint. This process is easy and takes less than a minute to capture the Eyeprint. To unlock the mobile screen, there is a small window flashing on top of the screen, substantiating the captured Eyeprint that unlocks the device in about 3 seconds. This is a highly robust feature that does not allow anybody other than the user to unlock the device.  TCL 560 flaunts a curved design which looks sophisticated and cozy to use.

TCL 560 again proves itself to be distinguished from others by having the placement of its power buttons above the volume rockers, which is not the case with other mobile phones. In addition to this, the inbuilt In-Plane Switching (IPS) technology enacts good and qualified brightness and contrast levels along with wide viewing angles, convincing to watch movies, playing games etc. The touch response of the mobile is also excellent and the Android Marshmallow operating system allows apps to open up smoothly and quickly in no time. Lastly, the mobile carries an 8MP rear camera that is convenient for shooting in bright light conditions and offers modes like HDR, face beauty, Panorama. Furthermore, the mobile has a good score amidst selfie lovers as it has a 5MP front camera to click superior quality pictures.
