Sony Xperia Miro Up for Pre-Order for 14,499


Bangalore: In the month of June 2012, Sony announced the launch of two new members under its Android range of smartphones; Xperia Tipo and Xperia Miro. Sony Xperia Tipo was launched in India a few days back and now the company has also launched its slightly more expensive smartphone Xperia Miro. The smartphone is available on online shopping portals like Snapdeal.com, Flipkart.com etc for a price of 14,499.

Sony Xperia Miro comes with a 3.5 inch TFT capacitive touch screen. The smartphone is powered by an 800 MHz Qualcomm processor which is same as the one in Xperia Tipo.  The phone functions on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system.

The smartphone Miro comes with an internal memory of 4 GB and it also has a slot for a microSD card which gives the user to expand the memory up to 32 GB. The phone has a 5 mega pixel rear camera which comes with features like auto focus, digital zoom as well as an LED flash and a front facing VGA camera which allows the user to make video calls. This secondary camera is absent in the Xperia Tipo model. According to the company the battery would give the user up to 5 hours of talk time along with 470 hours of standby time.

Sony said that the smartphone will be available in four colour combinations; black, white with silver, black with pink, and white with gold. But as of now the model out in the market is the one which is a combination of white and silver.
