Sony Launches Its Biggest Ever Smartphone For Rs.46,990

Bangalore: Sony has launched its biggest ever Smartphone, the 6.4 inch Xperia Z Ultra in India at a price tag of 46,990. The water and dust proof device will be available throughout the retail as well as online stores starting August 2.

The powerful phablet packs a mighty 2.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon quad-core processor under the hood along with 2 GB RAM. The device has 16GB of internal storage which is expandable to 64 GB wit Micro SD support. The screen resolution stands at 1920x1080, which is better than the other 6 inch phablets from counterparts including Samsung and Huawei. An 8 Megapixel primary camera sits at the rear that can shoot in HDR with Sony’s “Exmor RS for mobile” technology. A 2 MP front camera assists video calling and self portraits.

Irrespective of the specifications and a huge screen, the device made out of aluminum is just 6.5mm thick and weighs 212 grams.
