Samsung To Soon Launch Galaxy S4 Zoom With 16 MP Camera

Bangalore: Seems like, Samsung is all geared up to launch a smaller version of its Galaxy S4 very soon. Reports say that this is not the only handset as many versions are lined up on the anvil. According to the Times of India, the South Korean mobile maker is preparing at least two variants of the much awaited Galaxy S4.

Meanwhile a report from SamMobile states that ‘Galaxy S4 Zoom’ is on the verge of development. The device is said to feature a 16 MP autofocus camera with optical image stabilization and 10X optical zoom. Zoom will show a 4.3 inch display with 960 x 540 resolution and 256ppi pixel density. With an expandable onboard to 64GB from 8GB with microSD support, the device will run on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS with TouchWiz Nature UX. The Smartphone will have Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, along with white and black colour options. The phones processor and RAM have not been disclosed but the code name is reported to be SM-C1010.

With regards to the reported rumors of the other version of Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini, the handset is expected to share a display with the Zoom variant. It will come in single as well as dual SIM variants packing a 1.6 GHz dual core processor with Nature UX 2.0 over its operating system. The images of the device were leaked on Twitter in March and the phone will soon be released in June or July this year.

There are reports on the rumors of another ruggedized version of Galaxy S4. The mobile maker’s Gulf President – Young Soo Kim revealed that the company is working on water and dust proof variant of the current flagship model which will be heard of in a few weeks. As of now, there are only mid-range rugged phones under the Galaxy Xcover series.
