Bangalore: Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini was hitting headlines ever since Lee Keon Hyok, Senior Vice President at Samsung Electronics, said that the handset will be launched soon after its elder sibling, Galaxy S4. However, according to latest reports, S4 Mini will be launched this week than its supposed launch at the end of May or April.

As the images and specs of S4 mini are already leaked online, SamMobile claims that, the South Korean handset maker may wave the green flag for the this Smartphone to by end of this week.

The S4 mini is to sport a 4.3-inch qHD Super AMOLED display with 256ppi. Under the hood it packs a 1.6GHz dual-core processor. It is expected to run on Android 4.2.2 (Jelly Bean) along with TouchWiz Nature UX 2.0. The rumors also suggest that, Samsung will be launching Galaxy S4 mini in both single and dual-SIM variants.

GSMArena has already listed the four variants of S4 Mini viz. GT I-9190, GT I-9192, GT I-9195 and the GT I-9198.

In October last year, Samsung rolled out the smaller version of Samsung Galaxy S3, which is yet to hit Indian stores.
