Samsung Launches 2016 Edition Galaxy J5 and Galaxy J7


BENGALURU: The South Korean tech giant—Samsung, has listed the 2016 edition of mid-range Smartphones—Galaxy J5 and Galaxy J7 in their official Chinese website. Although, the price of these two devices is not revealed yet, but it is expected to carry a price tag within 20,000, reports Digit.

The Samsung Galaxy J5 is a standard Smartphone with 5.2-inch HD Super AMOLED display. A 1.2GHz quad-core SoC powers the device along a 2GB RAM and 16GB internal memory with an option of microSD port for expansion. The phone sports a 13MP primary camera and a 5MP front-facing camera. A 3100mAh battery supplies sufficient power for the device that is expected to last a day with full charge.

On the other hand, the bigger screen Galaxy J7 flaunts a 5.5-inch HD Super AMOLED display. The processor capacity is doubled from Galaxy J5 by sporting an octa-core processor clocked at 1.6GHz. The octa-core processor is coupled with 3GB RAM, the memory along with camera are options that are identical to Galaxy J5. The previous year’s Galaxy J5 and J7 were priced at 11,999 and 14,999 respectively, hence the pricing of these devices are expected to be in the similar range.
