RIM's BlackBerry 10 Aristo Smartphone Leaked


Bangalore: Among all the speculations about the downfall of RIM and their handsets, Research In Motion has been silently working on a range of devices that it would release along with their new operating system Blackberry 10.x.

Among the handsets developed this is one called Aristo which means “the best” in Greek language. Only time will tell if this device would be the RIM’s savior. This is the second leaked device from BlackBerry after Langua, a touch screen smartphone from BlackBerry.

Aristo will come with a 4.6 inch OCTA Gloss OLED panel touch screen display which supports a resolution of 1280 X 720 pixels. The smartphone will be powered by a 1.5 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro APQ8064 processor which will be backed by 2 GB of RAM for faster performance. It will feature 16GB of internal storage and will also support microSD cards of up to 16GB

The device will come with an 8 mega pixel camera with a flash. Along with this the phone will also support a 2 mega pixel front facing camera for video calls. It will also have Bluetooth 4.0, Autonomous GPS, DLNA support, micro USB port, micro HDMI out, and a Near Field Communication chip.

RIM in the past has already announced that BlackBerry 10.x based smartphones will be out in the market in the beginning of 2013.
