Oppo Unveils The Neo 5 In India With A Price Tag of 9, 990


BENGALURU: Looking at buying any affordable new Smartphone this week? Here’s addition to the options you have, the Chinese Smartphone maker ‘Oppo’ has just unveiled its Neo 5 Smartphone in India. Priced at 9,990, this Smartphone competes with the popular phones like the Lenovo A7000 and Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G, reports TOI.

The Oppo’s Neo 5 comes with a 4.5-inch display sporting a resolution of 480x854 Pixels on an IPS LCD screen. Running on Android 4.4 (Kitkat), the phone is powered by a 1.3 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor backed up a RAM of 1GB.

Pictures and selfies can be clicked by a 5 mega pixel rear camera and 2 mega pixel front snapper. On the storage front, it has an internal memory of 4GB which is expandable up to 32GB with a Micro SD card. This Oppo phone is charged by a 2000 mAh battery which also comes with a power-saving mode.

The device is also equipped with a range of connectivity options i.e 2G, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and A-GPS.

According to Tom Lu, CEO, Oppo Mobiles India, said, "Oppo Neo 5 (2015) will target consumers who expect superior specifications at decent pricing. Our target is to reach out and cater to each segment in the market."
