Nokia Unveils 'Mobile Milestone' Asha 310 With Dual-SIM And Wi-Fi

Bangalore: Finnish mobile maker, Nokia tries to expand its low-end Smartphone series with Asha 310, equipped with dual-SIM and Wi-Fi access, focusing to boost its market share in developing markets, reports of First Post.

Nokia has been losing market share to Samsung and Apple especially in the Smartphone market and struggling against tough competition from Chinese manufacturers.

The company stated that the upcoming phone, Asha 310 is designed with a full-touch 3-inch capacitive touch screen display and 2-megapixel camera and calls this as a ‘mobile milestone’. Nokia’s ‘Easy Swap’ dual-SIM technology allows users to switch between SIM cards for personal or office purposes and enable Wi-Fi to make it cost-effective.

Other tech specifications include 20MB internal storage which can be expanded up to 32GB via microSD card, Bluetooth 3.0, USB 2.0 connector, 3.5 mm AV connector, 2mm pin charging and a battery which offers 25 days standby and up to 17 hours talk time.

It is the company’s first Smartphone to offer both dual-SIM and Wi-Fi together. Nokia Asha 310 will go on sale in Asia, India Middle East, Africa and Brazil this quarter for a price of around $102 which should come to 5500.
