Nokia Lumia 610 Launched For 12,999

Bangalore: Nokia Lumia 610, which was unveiled in February 2012 at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona has been finally launched in Indian market  for 12,999.

The Nokia Lumia 610 comes has a screen size of 3.7-inch with a resolution of 800 X 480 pixels. This smartphone is powered with a Qualcomm 800 MHz processor along with 256 MB of RAM and 8 GB storage. The phone boasts of a 5 mega pixel camera which comes with Nokia Camera that features Smart Group Shot, Action Shot, Panorama Shot and Self Timer. This smartphone will be the first Lumia to get Mix Radio App.

The main thought behind the Lumia 610 was to introduce a Windows phone which had an affordable price tag to it. To make this possible Microsoft introduced Windows Phone Tango update which lead to a considerable lowering of the hardware equipments and requirements and this further reduced the RAM requirements from 512 MB to 256 MB.

Nokia has positioned the Lumia 610 as a competitor to the low-wend Android smartphones. But Nokia will have to reduce the price a little more to be able to make its Lumia 610 a true competitor of the low end Android smartphones.

For the entire color enthusiast, like the other Lumia smartphones Lumia 610 also comes in a variety of exciting colors like cyan, magenta, white and black.
