Bangalore:  The much awaited and anticipated Windows Surface tablet finally got launched two days back. With Surface, Microsoft hopes to make inroads into the already overcrowded tablet market. It is pitching Surface as a competitor to Apple's iconic iPad and Samsung Galaxy series. At the launch Surface showed a lot of promise. Everyone wants to come with the thinner and lighter gadgets.  Microsoft’s Surface is no different.  Surface is pushing the envelope when it comes to its size.  Surface RT weighs 676 grams and is 9.33mm in its thickness and the other variant, Windows 8 Pro weighs 903 grams and 13.5mm in thickness. With the sleek and unique design the tablet is also causing a big time worry for ultrabooks too.
