Micromax Launches Canvas XP 4G


BENGALURU: Microsoft has further augmented its Canvas series by launching a new smartphone—Microsoft Canvas XP 4G. The smartphone is now available on Snapdeal at a price of 7,499 as reported by Abhinav Lal for NDTV Gadgets360. The unique highlighted features of this smartphone are its 3GB RAM and 4G LTE connectivity, which is available at a low price range.

Micromax Canvas XP 4G is a dual-SIM smartphone that runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop along with Indus OS. Indus OS supports 12 Indian languages out of which this smartphone supports 10 Indian languages. The mobile device features a 5-inch HD display and is powered by 1GHz quad-core processor. The smartphone is equipped with 8-megapixel rear autofocus camera with flash and 2MP front camera. There is an inbuilt storage of 16GB with an expandable storage option. Micromax Canvas XP 4G sports a 2000mAH battery. Along with 4G LTE, the smartphone supports other connectivity options such as TDD-LTE Band 40 (2300MHz), FDD-LTE Band 3 (1800MHz), Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS. Micromax Canvas XP 4G is available in black color for limited time. Furthermore with the release of Micromax Canvas XP 4G on Snapdeal, Micromax has aimed to target tech-savvy users in the age group of 18-25 years.

According to Shubhajit Sen, CMO of Micromax, the company has made advancements in smartphone market and has created flattering impact in e-commerce channel while capturing more than 11 percent online market in the previous year. Sen also attributes an important part of this success to their association with Snapdeal.
