MWC 2016: A Sneak Peek Into the Next Gen Phones From China


BENGALURU: Everyone has their eyes on Barcelona, but this time not because of football, it’s all about Mobile World Congress. The 2016 GSMA Mobile World Congress (MWC) will take place from February 22 - 25, 2016.  This stage lets you know what the next big thing in the mobile space is.

Long gone are the days where we used to look down on Chinese phones. They have grown in quality and quantity and have captured a significant niche in the market, especially brands like Xiaomi, Oppo, Huawei, Gionee and Lenovo. Techradar takes a closer look at all the major Chinese brands and what the tech savvy community can expect from them at this year’s MWC.

Xiaomi:

The smart phone giant and the so called Apple of China- is gearing up to reveal its mot awaited smartphone Mi 5. The phone features 5.2 inch full HD display, snapdragon 820 processor, and 16 megapixels rear camera. The Mi 5 will also have a fingerprint scanner on the front.
