Lenovo Launched ThinkPad X1 Carbon Ultrabook in India


Bangalore: Lenovo has launched a new device named ThinkPad X1 Carbon which is the world’s lightest business ultrabook in Indian market. The launch of this gadget marked the start of the company’s 20th anniversary celebrations. The ultrabook was created for the person who is always on the move and wanted their ultrabook to be portable and coupled with high performance.

The ThinkPad X1 Carbon comes with a 14 inch display which is teamed with high resolution. The Ultrabook boasts of being the lightest in the market and it weighs a mere 1.36 kg and at its thinnest point it measures just 8 mm. This device will be powered by a 3rd generation Intel Core processor. Along with this it comes with Lenovo’s RapidResume and RapidConnect technology which would enhance performance.

The device also comes with a multi-gesture glass surface touchpad and a HD face-tracking camera. For the people who love listening to music as well as watching movies the device comes with a Dolby-tuned audio for crisp and clear sound. The ultrabook is made from carbon fibre. The gadget claims to come with a 6.3 hours battery life.

In the past twenty years of their existence, Lenovo has sold more 60 million ThinkPad devices.

The ThinkPad X1 Carbon will be available from 85,000 onwards and will be out in the Indian markets in the month of September 2012.
