LG Announced Three L-Series Smartphones in India


Bangalore: Along with its first quad-core smartphone – Optimus 4X HD, LG has launched L-Series handsets in Indian market. The L-series includes L7, L3 and L5 smartphones which are targeted at the mid and entry level smartphone market. All these smartphones were first showcased in MWC 2012 at Barcelona.

The L-Series handset comes with the company’s unique design philosophy – L-Style. The L-shape of the device is meant to increase the usability of its huge 4.3-inch touchscreen display for better navigation and keyboard functionalities.

The L7 sports 4.3 inch display which comes with WVGA (480x800) pixel resolution and the device sports 8 MP camera with LED Flash, 1.3 MP front facing camera, 1 GB RAM, 4 GB onboard storage with 2.8 GB user accessibility. The device is powered by single-core 1 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon mobile processor, Adreno 200 graphics chip and runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. For connectivity it supports Near Field Communication (NFC), Digital Living Network Alliance (DLNA), Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and GPRS.

The second smartphone L5 features 4 inch HVGA display with a resolution of 320x480 pixels. It is powered with 800 MHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S1 MSM7225A mobile processor, 4GB internal storage which is expandable up to 32 GB with microSD cards, rear 5.0 MP camera with LED Flash and 1,500mAh battery.

L3, the final one is the cheapest device in this series. It is powered with 800MHz processor, 1GB internal memory and has expandable memory up to 32GB using a microSD card. The device sports a 3.2-inch TFT LCD capacitive touchscreen display, 3 MP rear camera, 1500 mAh battery and supports Wi-Fi and 3G connectivity.
