LG- All Set To Hit The Market With Curved Smartphone And TV

Bangalore: In this hustle bustle life people are very much in need of mobile phones embedded with different features. Gone are the days when people used mobile phones only for communication but today they expect their gadget to be an all rounder. More specifically the devices are increasingly turning into entertainment points, thanks to the innovations with the displays- HD, Full HD, and recently curved screens. Keeping this in mind the South Korean electronics maker LG is going to hit the market with their curved screen Smartphone G Flex and OLED TV, as announced in a launch event at Delhi. The curved screen serves as a remedy to solve the problem of visual distortion and detail loss, reports Times Of India.

Though G Flex made its debut in October, its sales were restricted only to South Korea. The 6-inch flexible OLED screen that is curved along the horizontal axis and the curved 3,500 mAh battery make this innovation unique. LG claims, G Flex’s curved screen is able to produce the same effect that a 55-inch HDTV can create. Apart from this they also have a self healing capacity with which small scratches and scruffs will get dissolved within 5 minutes.
