LG - All Set To Hit The Market With Curved Smartphone And TV


LG G Flex includes 720 pixels display, 2.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor coupled with 2GB of RAM and Adreno 330 GPU. It comes with 32GB of internal storage and there is no support for further expansions Like LG G2, the new G Flex also has the power key and volume buttons on the back, positioned below a 13MP camera with LED flash. For video calls, the device houses a 2.1-megapixel front camera. The phone will hit the Indian market by February 2014 and it is suppose to carry a price tag of around 60000-65000, however the final price will be announced later, says Amit Gujaral, Head Marketing at LG India.

The rumor mills are already abuzz with the new of LG G Flex successor, which is expected to be launched next year, and the device apparently will sport a screen that will bend at 90-degree angle with ease. 

Another newest offering by LG, in the curved screen category is a 55-inch OLED TV. Instead of the RGB (red, green and blue) pixels that standard TVs have, this one has four pixels - red, green, blue and white.

The TV comes with Clear Speakers, which the company claims that it matches with the audio quality of movie theatres. Then there is offers Magic Remote, which has features like Gesture, Pointing, Wheel, Voice and Universal Control. LG's curved TV has hit the stores with a price tag of 9, 99,000.
