Is It Really Worth To Buy Nokia XL At
11,500?
BANGALORE: When Nokia launched its X series Android phone in India, it took many people to a state of awe with its incredible pricing and looks. Therefore, now the company is out with its second installment of the Nokia’s Android that is yet to prove its worthiness in the market now. Read below the list of features and whether this latest device would be a good buy at
11,500, as compiled by the Rediff.
Nokia XL’s Design
The Nokia XL is the ‘dignified’ edition of the Nokia X, from the outer appearance, the noticeable difference you can see is the flash at the rear and a front facing camera. Other than that, no major changes in its dimensions or its build quality, everything remains the same as its kin, is available with bright colors like the Lumia phones, and weighs around 190 grams being the heaviest out of the lot.
Hardware
The phone is built on a snapdragon chipset that consists of a dual core processor clocking around 1 GHz of speed with a 768 MB of RAM. This is an improvement over the 256 MB on the Nokia X. The phone’s internal memory is 4GB, where only 2GB is accessible to the users and can be expanded upto 32 GB.
Display
The Nokia XL comes with a 5-inches display, which is an inch more compared to the Nokia X. However, the resolution remains the same at 800X480 pixels, making the display look average and the user interface is the same as the smaller version of the phone.
Performance
The phone’s performance was comparably better than the Nokia X, which can be due to its extra RAM, and the phone did not have any issues with the connectivity or the call quality. The battery was pretty disappointing at 6 hours on normal usage.
Camera
As far as the camera is concerned, the phone has an impressive camera. The daytime images were crisp with the low light ones being good too.
Finally, with the verdict, the phone is priced at
11,500 and comes with a bigger display and good build quality. The phone has good front and back cameras but with this price, the phone might just be behind the other competitors.
