Huawei's 10-inch MediaPad Leaked before MWC


Bangalore: Huawei’s 10-inch MediaPad is in rumors before the happening of Mobile World Conference (MWC) at Barcelona where the company is about to launch this new baby. This new tablet is the sequel of the company’s 7-inch MediaPad launched last year and according to Russian site Hi-Tech Mail, the device has a slinky metal frame, its thin, has a dock connector at the base and will run on Android’s Ice Cream Sandwich.

The 10-inch MediaPad will sport an 8-megapixel camera, a microSD expansion slot, and 3G connectivity. There are no details about its processor and memory, but it is rumored that it might have quad-core processor and 16GB of storage.

Huawei is making good efforts to have a grip in the smartphone and tablet market this year. With the recently launched Ascend P1 S, the slimmest Android smartphone and the rumored high-end diamond series quad-core smartphones which we might be seeing at MWC the company is determined to have a foothold in this space.

Huawei will launch this tablet on February 26 at MWC, so we have to wait few more days to know about its complete specification, price and availability.
