HTC Unveils its First Dual-SIM smartphone


Bangalore: HTC has launched its first dual-SIM smartphone - HTC Desire V in Ukraine; we expect it will be available in the Indian market soon. The device runs on latest Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system.

HTC Desire V comes with dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) standby and only one SIM will support 3G network. Further it is powered with 1 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, 512 MB of RAM, 4 GB of internal storage - expandable up to 32 GB via microSD card.

It sports 4-inch display with 400x800 pixels resolution, 5 MP camera with autofocus, Beats Audio and for connectivity it comes with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, microUSB, GPS, AGPS and 3.5mm audio jack.

The company is also launching an alternative of this phone in China as Desire VC. As of now there is no exact release date and price information available related to the Indian market.

In India the company has recently launched its flagship smartphone - HTC One X and along with many One series smartphones.
