HTC Launches The Plastic Version Of The One M8


BANGALORE: HTC has released the HTC one E8 which is a polycarbonate version of the company’s flagship phone the HTC one M8. The M8’s body is been replaced with a plastic one that the company points out to sport a ‘dual curve’ design easily fits into the hands of the user. The phone is said to be launched in four colors Polar white, Electric crimson, Maldives blue and Misty grey and there is no word on the pricing or in the availability as yet, reports The Times Of India.

The HTC E8 runs on the latest version of the Android 4.4 and comes with the Company’s sense 6 UI. The phone’s hardware consists of a Qualcomm snapdragon 801 chipset with a 2GB of RAM and the clock speed of the processor is yet to be disclosed. The phone comes with a 5-inch full HD borderless display and sports a dual stereo speaker. The E8 comes with a 16 GB internal storage memory that can be expanded up to 128GB with a Micro SD card. The photographs can be taken through a 13 Mega pixel rear camera that has no ultra mega pixel feature like the M8 and the E8 has 5 MP front camera. The phone comes with a 2600 mAh battery.
