Well within days of Apple releasing its 7 inch tablet to compete with Google, Google partnering with Samsung have gone ahead and launched their 10 inch competitor to the original iPad which is the pioneer in the 10 inch tablet market.

The 10 inch Nexus tablet comes with a resolution of 2560 X 1600 pixels which amounts to 300 pixels per inch (ppi). The device is powered by a Dual Core A15 processor and function on Android v4.2 Jelly Bean operating system. This operating system allows the user to add multiple users which make the tablet shareable without losing data.

The tablet has a 5 mega pixel rear camera along with a 1.9 mega pixel front facing camera which allows the users to make video calls. According to the people at Google, Nexus 10 would come with 500 hours of standby time and up to 9 hours of video playback. It comes with 16 GB internal memory storage and 2 GB RAM. On the connectivity front the tablet has Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and Near Field Communication (NFC)

In its blog, Google has gone on to say that Nexus 10 will be the highest resolution tablet on the planet. This can be considered a direct remark at the Retina Display iPads from Apple. "A Nexus device is much more than simply a phone or tablet. It's your connection to the best of Google -- all of your stuff and entertainment, everywhere you go with no hassle," Google's Andy Rubin wrote in a blog post.

The tablet will be available in the markets on 13th November 2012 in countries like US, Britain, Australia, France, Germany, Spain, Canada and Japan. Google hasn’t given a clear date as to when the Nexus 10 would make its way into the Indian markets.
