Galaxy S3 Hitting India on May 31, Pre-Oder Started

Bangalore: Samsung has started accepting  pre-order for its flagship smartphone Galaxy S III and it is reported that the pre-orders have already crossed 9 millions in few days. Customers who were eagerly waiting to buy this high-end smartphone can now place their orders on company’s e-store by just paying 2,000 in advance as non-refundable amount.

The company will launch this anticipated smartphone in India on May 31, according to a tweet by Stuff India, “Samsung sends us the invite. It's official - Galaxy S3 India launch on 31st May!”.

Samsung unveiled the Galaxy S3 earlier this month at an event in London. The device comes with 4.8 inch Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen with 720 x 1280 pixels resolution, multi-touch, corning Gorilla Glass protection. It is powered by Exynos 4212 Quad chipset, quad-core 1.4 GHz Cortex A9 processor, Mail-400MP graphic processor, 1 GB ram and runs on Android latest version 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system.

It also sports 1.9 MP front facing camera, 8 MP rear camera with 3264x2448 pixel image resolution and features autofocus, LED flash, HD video and image recording, geo tagging, touch focus, face and smile detection and image stabilization. For more details click here.
