Finally Micromax A116 Canvas HD Starts Shipping

It has a 5-inch HD IPS touchscreen with a resolution of 1280x720 pixels, and comes with scratch guard.

The device packs Quad-core 1.2 GHz Cortex-A7 processor coupled with 1 GB RAM and PowerVR SGX544 GPU, and runs on Android OS, v4.1.2 (Jelly Bean), planned upgrade to v4.2 (Jelly Bean). It has 4 GB internal memory that could be extended up to 32 GB via microSD card.

The handset comes with 8 MP, autofocus, dual-LED flash, primary camera, and 2MP secondary camera.

Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, GPRS, EDGE, micro USB, and Bluetooth. It has a Li-Ion 2000 mAh battery.
