At 9,999, Xolo Win Q900s Windows Phone Up for Pre-order


BANGALORE: Xolo has now announced the launch of its first Windows Phone, Xolo Win Q900s, in India, with this Windows 8.1 smartphone, Xolo has entered the Windows Phone segment in India.

It is now listed at the company's online store with an MRP of 11,999, while the smartphone is now up for pre-order on Snapdeal at a discounted price of 9, 999, available in limited (5,000 units) stock.  The e-commerce website notes the release date of Win Q900s as second week of July.

The Xolo Win Q900s  comes with a 4.7-inch 720p IPS display and measures 135x67x7mm, it is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 (MSM 8212) processor with Adreno 302 GPU, 1GB RAM. The Xolo Win Q900s is currently available in Black colour variants only, with a dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) device and the first smartphone in the company's line-up to run Windows Phone 8.1.

The smartphone includes 8GB of inbuilt storage that is further expandable up to 32GB via microSD card. It also sports a 8 megapixel rear camera with a single LED flash, a 2-megapixel front-facing camera, and comes with a 1800 mAh battery which is rated to deliver up to 14 hours of talk time and up to 246 hours of standby time on 3G network. In terms of connectivity, Xolo Win Q900s supports Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and 3G connectivity.

The phone weighs merely 100 grams and is claimed to be the world's lightest smartphone till date.
