Asus Launches Fonepad 7 With Dual Core Atom CPU

Bangalore: Bringing an end to the rumors, Asus has officially launched the new version of Fonepad named as Asus Fonepad 7. The makers have improved the gadget in terms of performance and audio hardware.

The phablet has upgraded from the slower processor to an efficient and faster 1.6GHz Atom Z2560 dual-core processor. As the name suggests the device lets you to make phone calls similar to the previous model.

The gadget features a 7 inch IPS display with a resolution of 1280 X 800 pixels. Fonepad 7 is driven by 1 GB RAM and has 8 GB internal storage memory. The MicroSD card slot helps you to expand the memory upto 64 GB.

Even though there are improvements in the internal specs the overall appearance remains the same when compared to its predecessor. The addition of a dual-front speaker with SonicMaster technology is only the noticeable external change. There are no official information regarding the date of release and the price.
