Sony Set To Reveal Its Dazzling Attachable Lenses For Android Devices

Bangalore:   Sony has been working on camera lenses that can be attached with Smartphones to take high quality pictures and videos. There are two models getting ready in the lab, QX10 and QX100, both under the brand label ‘SmartShot’, reports Sony Alpha Rumor, a micro blogging site. The label ‘SmartShot’ is thought to come by combining ‘Smartphones’ together with their ‘CyberShot’ camera series.

 Both the lenses give away an ambient look with their pure white color. They will support a variety of devices that uses Android platform. As per the previous reports, QX-100 lens has a 20.2 Mega Pixel sensor with f/1.8 aperture, 3.6x Optical Zoom and ring zoom.

As far as QX- 10 is concerned it features an 18MP CMOS sensor with an f/3.5-3.9 aperture lens. The latest reports reveals that both the SmartShot variants incorporates lens stabilization technology and supports High Definition video recording at 1080/30p in MP4 format.

The images clicked with Smartshot lens can be automatically saved into both phone and lens memory with the help of a ‘playmemory’ app that supports Android and iOS platforms. The gadget is reported to be unveiled in September during the IFA 2013 Press Event.
