Apple iPhone 5S Coming In June And Cheaper iPhone In September

Bangalore: After its highly successful iPhone 5, which sold over 5 million units in its first weekend sales, Apple is bringing the next iteration of iPhone series, the iPhone 5S, in June. Gene Munster, managing director and senior research analyst at Piper Jaffray, specializing in Internet, broke this news to CNET.

Most analysts and Apple Fans expects the phone to include a faster processor, better camera, and new software feature tied into the hardware. iPhone 5S may also come with NFS(near field communications) for mobile payments and for faster data transfer between two sets. And there are also speculations that, the new device may incorporate a biometric security feature, like fingerprint reader. Apple's purchase of security technology provider AuthenTec last year has fueled this possibility.

The next product in the line is speculated to be the cheaper iPhone from Apple. According to analysts, the device is to cost around $250 for unlocked version and it may debut in September this year. And there would be a follow up launch- Apple TV, could debut in December followed by announcement of Apple’s Smartwatch.

"We believe investors have wondered if Apple can put out new and innovating products without Steve Jobs," Munster said, "We believe that ultimately, if Apple is viewed as a company that can innovate, the multiple will improve."

So for now it’s a time for long wait to see what Apple has got in store for the consumers.
