Acer Introduces Four New Models Of V5 Series Touch Enabled Notebooks

Bangalore: Acer, announced the expansion of its Aspire range of notebooks to address the requirements of consumers across genre. Ranging from Pentium Dual Core processor to Intel Core i5, the company has launched four different kinds of models under the V5 series. The Acer Aspire V5 series is a performance powerhouse, engineered to boost productivity. The Windows 8 interface offers consumers an overall rich and intuitive touch experience.

Powered by the Intel Core processor, Acer’s Aspire V5 series delivers high performance while being extremely power-efficient. The slender machine features a 10-point touch display with a large trackpad, specially designed to enhance multi-gesture content consumption.

The device has a simple, a distinct design in a slim form factor. At less than 20mm thin and weighing slightly over 2 kgs, the device is 30 percent slimmer and 10 percent lighter than a traditional notebook.

Available on variants of 14” and 15.6” screen size and with a 16:9 aspect ratio, movies and games come to life on the high-definition LED backlit display. The LED backlit screen consumes less energy and saves significant amount of power in comparison to the traditional display.
