The Chromecast app got new updates like universal voice search control, new ‘Fast Play’ function where you can find what Google thinks you will want to watch, another new feature ‘What’s On’ where you will find popular content from YouTube and Netflix. We might also see new update live streaming supported by Sling TV, NBA, and NHL in the upcoming weeks.

Chromecast Audio

Chromecast Audio is the music focused counterpart of Chromecast, which can be connected directly to the speakers via 3.5mm audio port. It lets users connect and send music to it by using Google Play Music, Pandora and the newly announced Spotify with the controls from Android Smartwatch and lock screens in phones. It is available in 17 countries at the price of USD 35.
