Sony Xperia Tablet S

The Sony Xperia Tablet S was unveiled at the recently concluded IFA 2012 event at Berlin, Germany. The tablet is successor to the previously launched Tablet S. The Xperia Tablet S has a 9.4 inch TFT Capacitive Multi touch display screen which comes with a resolution of 1280 X 800 pixels. The tablet will be powered by a 1.3 GHz NVIDIA Terga 3 quad core processor. This tablet, like the other Xperia smartphones is also waterproof.

The device has an 8 mega pixel rear facing camera which comes with auto focus feature and it also has a 1 mega pixel front facing camera which allows the user to make video calls. The tablet will function on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system.

The device comes in three memory variants; 16 GB, 32 GB, and 64 GB. Along with this the tablet also has a slot for a microSD card which allows for expanding the memory up to 32 GB. It runs on a 6000 mAh battery which according to Sony will provide the users with at least 10 hours of battery back up!
