5. Windows Won’t Standalone

All the previous versions of Windows were available to be purchased of the shelf, but Windows 8 on ARM will not have the option of being sold as boxed software. It will only come pre-installed on tablets and PCs. Further updates for the operating system will be available through Windows updates.
