6. Android Dominance Continues:

Android devices dominate WMC as there is no official presence of Apple.  A wide range of new devices are launched at the event which runs on Google’s Android platform. To keep track of all the new variants is quite impossible, and all the devices looks and feels quite similar therefore it’s becoming more confusing for customers. The noticeable ones are the smartphones coming with quad-core processors like Huawei’s homemade quad-core Ascend D and LG’s Optimus 4X.

7. Budding Windows Phone Devices:

Microsoft entered the mobile operating system market a bit late, but still its making its presence felt with new devices which run on its Window Phone operating system. The company’s partnering with Nokia also seems promising more both the tech monsters. Nokia has launched a low-cost window phone under its Lumia series- Lumia 610 and a high end phone Lumia 900. LG is also said to launch its window phone smartphone at the event.
