5. Karbonn SmartTab 2

Karboon announced the upgraded version of SmartTab with pre-installed Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system. This upgraded model SmartTab 2 is the India’s first budget tablet which came with the latest Android 4.1 Jelly Bean Operating system onboard.

Karbonn SmartTab 2 sports a 7 inch tablet with five-point touchscreen having a resolution of 800 X 480 pixels, a 2 mega pixel front camera and there are pre-loaded apps like Karbonn Smart Browser and Karbonn Smart games.

The device is powered by 1.2GHz processor, has a mini HDMI port, a micro SD card slot for storage of up to 32GB, a USB port that can be used to connect 3G USB dongle and also has a 3D gravity sensor to deliver better gaming experience.

At present the upgraded SmartTab is available on Karbonn website at a price of 6,990 and it is expected that within few days it will hit the stores. It is rumored that the company is also planning to launch a 9.7 inch Jelly Bean tablet.
