The sequel to Darksiders developed by Vigil Games was scheduled to be out in August and the developers have kept their promise. The Darksider II is an action adventure role playing video game and is compatible with PlayStation3, Xbox 360, Microsoft and Microsoft Windows.

The story is a continuation of its predecessor. The game will be based in the same timeline as well. But this time around the gamers will adorn the role of Death instead of War. The game has new maps, weapons and arsenal. The game will also feature the two other horsemen, Strife and Fury but in small roles.

War has been convicted and sent back to Earth as a punishment by the Charred Council. When his brother Death comes to know of this he is enraged as he knows that War is honorable and incorruptible. War has been blamed for starting the apocalypse. So Death has to begin his journey to save his brother and prove his innocence. To do this Death has to defy the council and travel to the Nether Realms a place that is located between Heaven and Hell.

So it’s time we adorn the cape of Death and help him in his mission to proven his brother, War’s innocence.
