The mobile phone technology has become the most intrusive technology known to mankind.  There are over 900 million mobile subscribers in India alone and they are from all segments in the society. There are many instances where youngsters are known to go to bed with their phones lying right next to pillow. An average cell phone user uses phone for more than 2 hours per day.

As already stated, cancer is one of the dangers of excessive cell phone uses. Apart from that, symptoms like burning feeling in the head area, migraines, vibrating sounds in the ears, tiredness and disturbed sleep patterns are also due to excessive cell phone usage. Mobile phones are also a risk to pregnant women and people with medical implants in their bodies.

The best way to avoid all this is by reducing the time spent on the phone but that is very difficult in today’s day as many of the jobs and livelihood are connected to this device. But we can do simple stuff like not keeping the cell phone near your pillow while sleeping or consciously reducing the unwanted calls on your cell phones.
