BlackBerry has invited huge criticism in India following the marketing strategy, which placed its Smartphones Z10 and Q10 among the costliest Smartphones in the country. Many critics argued that for a company which is yet to prove itself with the new operating System (BlackBerry 10), the pricing can be of huge let down.
However, to repeated questions on the pricing strategy, BlackBerry had only one answer, “we are not getting into price wars, we are focusing on value to drive sales.” Hence the Smartphones Z10 and the recently released Q10 is placed in the top of the charts costing 42,490 and 44,990 respectively.

But to make it affordable to the BlackBerry lovers in India, the company has introduced EMI schemes at a down payment of zero and no processing fee.  Let’s wait and see whether it will rejuvenate the sales in the country.
