Tablets: Indian tablet market sees a new release every day, therefore five new tablets in one week is not a big deal in this segment.

5. Mercury mTab7

Kobain launched their new budget Android tablet ‘mTab 7’ under the brand name Mercury for 6,499. The tablet comes powered by a 1.2GHz single-core ARM Cortex A8 processor, 512 MB of RAM and runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system.

The mTab7 sports a 7-inch capacitive touchscreen, 0.3 mega pixel front facing camera, 4 GB of internal memory and a micro-SD card slot to expand the memory up to 32 GB. The device has a HDMI output and an USB to connect 3G dongle.

6. Penta T-Pad WS703C

Pantel Technologies released their new tablet named Penta T-Pad WS703C for a budget price of 6,999. One unique feature in this tablet is its 2G SIM Slot and it is India’s first tablet to have this feature.

The tablet is powered by a 1.2GHz Cortex A8 processor and 512 MB of RAM. It has 4 GB of internal storage, inbuilt 2G SIM Slot and is also 3G dongle compatibility.
