5. Toshiba Satellite U925t – Tablet with Slide-Out Keyboard

Toshiba Satellite U925t is a hybrid which has a different genome from all hybrids mentioned till now. This tablet-cum-ultrabook comes with a slide-out keyboard. The company calls this device as an ultrabook; it comes powered by an Intel Core i5 processor and has 128GB solid state drive.

When the device is folded it look like a thick tablet sporting a 12.5-inch screen, but the moment you slide the screen up you will find a full-sized keyboard with a touchpad and this makes the device turn in to ultraportable laptop. The device on whole weighs 3.2 pounds which is passable for an ultrabook but is heavier for a tablet.

The hybrid device comes with 3-megapixel camera on the back, a webcam on the front and supports NFC technology. The pricing of the product is not known yet, but it is expected to start the shipment soon after the official launch of Window 8.
