Bangalore: Toshiba showcased its Windows 8 based ultrabook ‘Satellite U925T’ in IFA 2012 at Berlin. The Toshiba Satellite U925T is the similar slider tablet that the company has displayed at Computex 2012 which was held earlier this year.
The ultrabook features 12.5 inch touchscreen with Gorilla Glass protection, powered with Core i5 processor and runs on Windows 8 operating system. It also comes with 128 GB SSD for storage, 3 mega pixel camera at back, HD web camera on front facing for video calls and chats.
It is expected to have connectivity options like two USB 3.0, HDMI port, 3.5 mm headphone jack, multi-support memory card reader, and NFC for hassle free file sharing.
As of now there is no official statement related to price and availability of this tablet cum ultrabook. But it is expected to be available soon after Window 8 official launch on October 26. All computer giants like HP, Sony, Samsung, Fujitsu, Dell, Acer, Asus, Lenovo etc. are offering ultrabooks.
