6. Lenovo ThinkPad Tablet 2 – The Real Window 8 Tablet

Lenovo launched this hybrid device at their 20th anniversary ThinkPad event which happed in August, 2012. The ThinkPad Tablet 2 is the first read Window 8 tablet which runs Windows 8 Professional OS and is powered by a next-gen Intel Atom processor.

The ThinkPad Tablet 2 sports a 10.1-inch screen having 1,366 x 768-pixel resolution, 8-megapixel rear camera, 2-megapixel front camera, optional keyboard and dock, Wi-Fi, optional AT&T LTE and 3G and optional NFC.

7. Acer Aspire S7 Ultrabook – The Ultra-Slick Touchscreen Ultrabook

Acer showcased Aspire S7 Ultrabook first at Computex, 2012. This touch-enabled ultrabook which runs on Windows 8 operating system comes in two models - 11.6 inch and 13.3 inch screen sizes.  The device has a sleek aluminum metallic unibody design which is very impressive.

Some mentionable features of the device are; Twin Air Cooling System, Light-Sensing Keyboard and the company promises that it has a long battery life. We don’t have any information about the processor of the device, but we expect it to be engineered with Intel ultra-low-voltage Ivy Bridge-class chips.
