First way is that you can ask some particular questions such as ‘which location is this’ or ‘what is the weather condition’. In order to search the web using voice command, hit the microphone icon on the Google search box, then press and hold for a while to activate the ‘Speak Now’. It will automatically give you the relevant information without any manual action.

Voice dial: If you can call someone hands free it could be really helpful, when your both hands are occupied. You can perform voice dial on all Android and iOS devices. To start with the voice dial, just click on the apps button on the home page of your phone. Select voice commands from the app list and speak the word ‘Call’. Then tell the name of the person whom you like to contactor their contact number. If you want, you can also click on the ‘Call’ option as well. Keep on say the words ‘call’ and the ‘contact name’, until the phone recognizes your voice. When you use voice dial, try to articulate the name properly then only it can identify the contacts. If multiple contacts are there with the same name, it will ask you to select a contact before making a call.

Open an app: When you have lots of apps installed on your device, finding out the one you want might be a little bit tough. You can have some shortcuts on your home page, but there is also some limitation. On Android and iPhone devices, you can install any app by saying its name. You can use commands such as 'open app name' for Android and 'launch app name' for iPhone. You can also play music by speaking out 'play music', 'play album name' or 'play artist name'.
