5. Zync’s ICS tablet for 8,990

Noida based Apple group’s Zync launched its first Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich tablet-‘Zync Z-990’ with a price tag of 8,990. The 7-inch tablet is engineered by a single core 1.2 GHz Vivant GC340 processor, 1 GB of RAM and runs on Android 4.0. Other features are; 7-inch capacitive touchscreen display with 480x800 pixels of resolution, 4 GB internal storage, can be expandable up to 32 GB via microSD cards, 0.3 MP front facing camera for video calls and chats, full USB 2.0 port, micro-HDMI port and micro USB port for connectivity.

 

6. Mercury mTab Neo for 14,999

Mercury’s fourth generation tablet- mTab Neo is powered by 1.2 GHz Cortex A8 dual core processor, 512MB RAM and runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system which will be upgraded to Android 4.0 in coming months. The tablet features a 7 inch multi-touch capacitive screen, has 8 GB internal storage- expandable up to 32 GB using microSD card, dual camera and has SIM functionality. For connectivity it has 3G, Wi-Fi, HDMI, Bluetooth and GPS.
