With small updations in the specs of Galaxy S Duos, Galaxy Core is the next popular budget phone by Samsung.  It came with 4.3 inch capacitive touchscreen lighting up 16M colors at 480x800 pixels resolution. Powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core processor coupled with 1GB of RAM the device has Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS and Samsung's TouchWiz.

On the optics side it has 5-megapixel rear camera, with auto-focus feature and led flash, and has a VGA front facing camera. The device came with 8GB of internal storage expandable by microSD card to up to 64 GB.

One of the highlights of Core was that it sported some of the smart functions of its elder sibling Galaxy S4.
