Acer Launches Cheapest Android Tablets, Costs As Low As $150


Bangalore: Acer tightens their grip in tablet market with the launch of Acer Iconia A1-830 that runs on 4.2.1 jelly bean operating system. The 7.9 inch affordable tablet comesat a  resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels and packs 1.6GHz Intel Atom processor inside with 1GB of RAM. It is comes with 16GB memory which can be further expanded using a microSD card.

To fit into pockets Iconia has a very thin and light design. The tablet sports a high quality rear facing camera that creates 2560 x 1920 pixel images. To add up it is also featured a front facing 720 pixels camera offering amazing photo experience.

Unlike other tablets that oozes charge to the crore; Iconia A1 can boast of its long battery life of 7.5 hours in a single charge and is made of high quality aluminum. This amazing gadget shows its excellence in terms of connectivity also with an array of options including Bluetooth 3.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, and a microUSB port. The A1-830 is anticipated to hit the U.S.market by next year March with a price tag of $150.The details on other specs and about the launch in other countries is not yet disclosed.

To delight all tech savvies Acer Iconia A1 will be accompanied with 8 inch Acer Iconia W4 to make Acer’s tablet war 2014 a big hit. Iconia W4 works on windows 8.1 and is equipped with an 8-inch IPS display (1280x800 pixels) and Zero gap technology. It is powered by a 1.8GHz quad-core Intel Atom Z3740 processor that is paired with 2GB of RAM and sports a 5MP rear camera along with a 2MP secondary camera while offering 64GB of internal storage that can be expanded via microSD. Similar to Iconia A1, W4 also comes with an attractive price tag of $499.
