Nokia Asha 202

Nokia Asha 202 is an addition to the company’s low-end Series 40-based Asha portfolio. Along with Asha 202, Nokia has also introduced a sibling of this phone named Asha 203. The only difference between these two new models is that the Asha 202 sports dual-SIM and Asha 203 is a single SIM phone.

Design: The look and feel of this budget phone is similar to that of the cheapo Nokia 101. You will see a metal rim up front which is actually plastic. The phone comes with a diagonal cut where back cover fits in. The handset sports alphanumeric keyboard and a touch screen too.

Nokia has made the design very ergonomic so the mobile gets easily fit into your palm. The plasticky finish and the resistive touch screen are the major pains in the phone. The 2.3-inch screen is not good for browsing web and there is no navigation button which is another drawback. The keys in the keyboard are flat and have very little spacing in between.

Features and Performance:
Asha 202 has dual-SIM functionality which is clocked with Easy Swap technology with dedicated SIM manager that lets you personalize the phone and save up to five SIM cards.

The device come clocked with 2MP rear fixed-focus camera. The camera clicks decent photos but the video clarity is awful. The phone has a 10MB internal memory and there is a microSD card slot to expand the memory up to 32 GB.

The device is also packed with Bluetooth connectivity, an FM Radio and a very loud speaker.

Asha 202 runs on the Series 40 software of the company and come pre-loaded with plenty of games from EA. The phone has a Nokia browser which compresses data traffic up to 90 percent and also has Nokia Life Tools.

The phone has a 1,020 mAh battery and comes in various colors - dark red, black, silver white and dark grey.
