Gone are the days of flip smartphones. Are they? It is yet to think about. Samsung, the world leader in smartphone has recently launched a flip smartphone, the Galaxy Golden, after a long time. Well, it's not a mere flip device, but a gadget with dual screen. Wow! That's something interesting, right? Let's checkout what all are interesting here with the Galaxy Golden.
Of course, the design is outdated. Samsung might be calling back the olden days when flip phones were trend setters. Well, it's not olden days anymore. The world is going beyond touch screens. The Galaxy Golden is powered by a 1.7 GHz dual core processor which is further supported by 1.5 GB RAM. It looks really disappointing as far as the price tag of the device is concerned. The device becomes only an average stuff here.
It is run on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS, which is currently the latest in Samsung gadgets. It is likely to be updated into Android 4.4 KitKat, which is the latest Android version.
The gadget is preloaded with 16 GB inbuilt storage, which can be expanded up to 64 GB via microSD card. This is absolutely cool and for storage one can certainly select it. But, is storage all for a smartphone? Of course, never! There are a lot left.
It is mated with an 8 MP rear camera which is assisted by an LED flash. Well, in the front a 1.9 MP secondary cam does the duties for video calling. This is pretty decent. Nothing is wrong with camera. Well, it's not the greatest in the class.

The Galaxy Golden has been priced even up to Rs 53,890. It is likely to come down to as low as Rs. 49,900. Still, it never meets the price tag for people.
Is the Galaxy Golden worthy to buy for Rs. 53,890? Do you think so? It's too costly and not at all worth buying at this price. Samsung, c'mon make it low.
